Nuclear Pharmacy is responsible for providing radiopharmaceuticals and other drugs to medical care providers under highly regulated State and Federal guidelines and may also consult with or advise physicians and nuclear medicine technologists on the safe and efficacious use of radioactive drugs for diagnosis and therapy. The Delivery Driver is responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Duties include preparing doses for shipment, preparing cases, wiping doses, loading and unloading containers in keeping with prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. The driver uses a company vehicle (non-CDL), packages medication for shipment, performs testing, loads/unloads containers, uses a handheld tablet to scan orders and obtain route information, processes returned packages, maintains vehicles, and performs minor roadside repairs and general facility cleaning. Candidates must be flexible to work different days, schedules, hours, come in early, stay late, or work overtime based on business needs. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, minimum age of 18, valid driver's license with good driving record, ability to manage up to 75 pounds, comfort driving in all weather conditions, strong customer service and communication skills, and ability to work in a nuclear environment.
